I am a restless wanderer in search of my 'personal legend' (as Paulo Coelho) puts it.
I have a dream...
The world be my playground
So that I can strut around.
I have a dream...
To rule hearts and minds
And bury the failures behind.
I have a dream...
Name, fame and fortune be my mates
And 'success' be my date.
I have a dream...
To die once and live forever,
Do good and savor.
I have to dream...
World be proud of me
Set a precedent for others to see.
I have a dream...
To be loved and remembered
Long after I'm dismembered.
I have a dream...
That my soul survives
And my work thrives.
I have a dream...
People may come and seasons may go
I may live on like an eternal show.
I have a dream...
To light up a flame
And the world be never be the same.
I have a dream...
The world be one happy family
And forget all that's silly.
Am I dreaming too much???
I am high on life, well most of the times. Life is not only an adventure, it is a celebration.
From Napolean to Albert Einstein all believed that 'Imagination rules everything...'It provides us with a reality higher than the reality we exist in.
Nature's bounties are up for grabs and I want to embrace them with both my hands. The sights, sounds and smells are there to be relished and savored. I choose to make the most of it.
I am going to take life head on with all my guns blazing....
'When beggars die, there are no comets seen;
The heavens themselves blaze forth the death of princes.' (Shakespeare)
I would most certainly prefer to die like a prince or shall I say princess.Yes, I admit, I am selfish, greedy and materialistic. But what's wrong in wanting a better, bigger life. Even a saint wants moksha or salvation, a higher state of being, isn't it?
Till the time I am not running any innocent down or encroaching other's private territory, what harm can my toiling for an abundant life cause?
I am what I am, take it or leave it.
I value my life...becoz I love life and everything that touches me in so many ways.... soulful music, divine nature, innocent children, inspiring book, successful people...they all give me enough reasons to celebrate life.
I value my life too much to squander it in unimportant and trivial issues.I am preoccupied with my 'mission', my 'personal legend'like a woman possessed.I have time for nothing else. Time is fast slipping out...There's no time to mull and fret and worry...It's action time guys!!!!
I renew my vows and refresh my vision every morning. I reaffirm my belief in my reasons and dreams. I try very hard to negate the influences of all the distractions that surround me. At times, I do give in... but other times, I fight back and do not surrender.Striking a balance is the key, my friend. At the end of the day, what the world really cares for is the end result...the final outcome. Your struggle and pain is of no value to them. Therefore, pursue your purpose and potential in life. That's your holy duty to yourself. You owe atleast this much to yourself, buddy.
Humongous projects, innovative endeavors, unprecedented achievements and path breaking breakthroughs all require the fertile soil of productive imagination. No matter how wild and impractical your dreams are- if you believe in them, they will surely see the light of the day.
'Life was meant to be lived. One must never turn his back on life.' (Eleanor Roosevelt)
Everyone worships the rising sun. Even I do. I dream of rising and shining one day. Maybe I am a late bloomer. I pray to Almighty Father that my lofty dreams don't just remain mere wishful thinking and idle wool-gathering and I have the strength and the wisdom to realize my flights of imagination and passions of the heart.
'...I have dreams to fulfill...
This world belongs to people like me- to the dreamers, the idealists and the romantics. All the growth and development, inventions and discoveries, success and achievement- that this world has witnessed since time immemorial can be attributed to the common, ordinary but enterprising dreamers who just dreamt big and subsequently chased them.
'I want to drink life to the lees'
I am a dreamer... an incurable and incorrigible dreamer! I am sure I was born with stars in my eyes.
